The GV90 is set to become Genesis’ largest and most luxurious electric vehicle, building on the success of its smaller electrified GV70 and G80 siblings. Previewed by the futuristic Neolun concept, the full-sized GV90 SUV is expected to offer a three-row layout, and an Uber-luxurious interior. With its sleek, minimalist design, advanced features, and premium starting price, the 2026 GV90 will likely compete with seasoned luxury brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Rolls Royce.

Expected performance

The GV90 will likely house a dual-motor setup, providing standard all-wheel drive and an estimated 500 horsepower. This configuration should offer a powerful yet serene driving experience, befit of a luxury premiym vehicle.  The GV90 is also expected to be the first vehicle to adopt the eM platform, an evolution of the highly-praised E-GMP platform that the majority of Hyundai Motor Group EVs utilize.

The masssive battery pack, likely borrowed from the Kia EV9, will provide an estimated range of 300 miles on a single charge. However, Genesis may introduce a larger battery option, pushing the range beyond 300 miles to stay competitive with other luxury EVs like the Lucid Gravity. This makes the GV90 not only a powerhouse but also a long-distance cruiser, perfect for road trips through Springfield, Virginia and beyond.

Ultra-Luxurious Interior

The Neolun concept gave us a glimpse of the GV90’s interior, showcasing a design ethos focusing on maximizing space and luxury. While the concept featured only two rows of seats, the production model is expected to offer a more traditional three-row setup, for larger families or groups. Like very Genesis, the GV90 will likely feature premium materials, including plush carpets and a possible continuation of the Neolun’s dramatic dark blue and purple theme.

Advanced comfort features, such as air suspension and electronically controlled dampers, are expected to deliver a comfortable and serene driving and passenger experience. Additionally, the GV90 is expected to deliver cutting-edge tech such as an adjustable 24.6-inch infotainment screen and a state-of-the-art sound system.
