2023 GV80 : Engine Options
The GV80 has two major engine options for buyers. The standard engine for the 2023 GV80 is a 2.5-L In-line 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces a swift 300 horsepower and 311 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2.5-L turbocharged engine can be paired with all-wheel drive. The second engine available to Genesis GV80 buyers is the 3.5-L Twin-Turbo V6 engine that sharply raises the luxury SUV’s horsepower to 375 and the torque to 391lb.-ft. This elevated engine option is only available with all-wheel drive.
The 2023 Genesis GV80 uses premium unleaded gasoline. Why premium gasoline? Premium gasoline has a high octane level of 91. This higher octane level means the gasoline is more resistant to engine knocking in high-performance engines. 2023 GV80 : Transmission and Performance
Regardless of your engine choice, the 2023 Genesis GV80 gets an 8-speed automatic transmission and a selection of driving technology.

This feature analyzes tire sound with microphones throughout the cabin and produces an opposing sound wave. The GV80 is ready to adapt to road conditions with five drive modes that will adjust the transmission, throttle, suspension, and more to maintain performance in various weather and road conditions. The five drive modes available are Eco, Comfort, Sport, Snow, and Custom. Add the available electronic limited-slip differential to your all-wheel drive to give the GV80 more adaptation to road conditions.
