First things first, The 2024 Genesis GV60, the 2024 Genesis GV70, and the 2024 Genesis GV80 all received the highest possible safety score from the IIHS, the Top Safety Pick + rating. In terms of Crash Worthiness, all 3 vehicles receive the highest Good-rating for the driverside and passenger-side tests. For Crash Avoidance & Mitigation, the Genesis GV60 receives a Good- rating for Headlights and the highest possible Superior score for Vehicle to Pedestrian Crash Prevention for day and night. The only “weakness” the GV60 exhibits is the LATCH ease of use, which was given an Acceptable-rating.

The 2024 Genesis GV70 also receives a Good-rating for headlights but receives an Advanced-rating for Vehicle to Pedestrian Crash Prevention for day and night, one level lower than Superior. Unlike the GV60 however, the GV70 receives a Good-rating for LATCH ease of use.
