Take a Peak Inside of the Genesis GV80

Genesis’s first SUV, the GV80, is a big hit in our book. Not just for the striking exterior but the interior was next level. I was very impressed with the polished interior features in the GV80. Open the door to the fresh oaky smell of a real leather interior. The dazzling crystal gear shifter brings all of the glitz and glam. That touch of excellence is seen throughout the GV80. The wood paneling on the doors, dashboard, and the center console is all real wood. Not that plastic wannabe stuff. You’ll find some other sneaky pieces of wood detailing throughout the cabin. The dash also had gunmetal and leather accents. One of my favorite features is the leather-wrapped steering wheel. It feels warm and lavish while driving down the road. I personally think the GV80 looks really cool from my view in the driver’s seat. You have a view of the open road, the wood and leather dash with the large touchscreen. You get the most bang for your buck compared to its other luxury competitors. 

The GV80 encompasses an upscale modern look with minimalist touches aka its instagramable to show off your daily coffee. All of your friends will envy your beautiful interior. The quilted Nappa leather seats are supportive yet comfortable. I had the pleasure of taking out a 3.5L Turbo GV80 this morning and let me tell you, those were some of the most comfortable seats to ride in. The seats are wide enough to sit comfortably yet give you a gentle hug to hold you in while making turns. Another perk of the GV80 interior is you don’t feel as if you are sitting right next to your passenger. You each have abundant elbow room on either side. The front seats are also available with massaging for the perfect relaxing ride home after work. 

Looking in the second and third-row seating you’ll encounter the same soft-touch leather upholstery used in the front seats. The leather is so smooth to the touch but feels durable. The second-row seats are supportive and also contour to the body. The second-row seating also has a generous leg, elbow, and headroom. I am on the shorter side so I had to recruit a few taller fellas to help me out with this. The second-row seats can slide forward and backward. They also recline for an enjoyable ride. They noted that once the seats are adjusted to your liking, you won’t have to worry about being cramped in the backseats. The large second-row middle console flips down to rest your arms comfortably next to the other passenger or to hold your snacks. There is also plenty of overhead room. You won’t have to listen to your backseat drivers complain about their air control since they can control it themselves. The second-row seats have available heated and cooled seats to keep everyone comfortable all year round. In case you need to drive the whole soccer team to practice, the GV80 will also offer seating for up to seven people with a third-row option. The GV80 embodies an athletic yet luxury feel.
